Moving home means moving junk too
March 10, 2014
Moving to a new house can be exciting. It offers the prospect of a new beginning.
That doesn’t mean that moving isn’t stressful.
Maybe you’ll opt to do the packing yourself – or you can hire a removals firm to manage the entire project on your behalf. Whichever option you choose, you’ll begin to get a good idea of the things you’re not going to take with you – and which will need getting rid of.
This might mean several trips to your local Council refuse site. You might need to hire a skip for all the rubbish.
Of course, there is another option. You could ask Waste King to call, load the rubbish and take it away for you.
Apart from not having to worry that your rubbish will be properly – and legally – disposed of, you can also be certain that Waste King will recycle at least 95 per cent of it, thus minimising its adverse impact on the environment.
Moreover, unlike hiring a skip, you’ll only pay for the actual amount of rubbish Waste King collects – not for a whole skip. And Waste King’s truck-based service doesn’t incur the costs of a skip permit – so that makes the whole exercise even cheaper for you.
Once you’ve got rid of all the waste at your old property, you should probably spare a thought for all the junk that’s waiting for you at your new property. It may have been – inadvertently – left by the previous occupants or it may be the result of renovation or extension work you’re carrying out.
Whatever it is – whether it’s household rubbish or hazardous waste – you could ask Waste King to take that away too.
